Buying Tickets
This guide explains how to find events, buy tickets, view your QR codes, and retrieve your tickets on etickets.im.
Finding events
Browse events at www.etickets.im. You can browse upcoming events by promoter or follow a direct link shared by the event organiser.
Selecting tickets
- Open the event page and choose the ticket type you want (e.g. General Admission, VIP).
- Select the number of tickets. Some events may ask you to enter guest names for each ticket.
- Click Proceed to Checkout to review your order.
Checkout — paid events
- Review the order summary including ticket price and any booking fee.
- Click Pay with PayPal. You will be directed to PayPal to complete payment securely.
- Log in to PayPal (or pay as a guest with a card) and confirm the payment.
- You are returned to etickets.im and a confirmation page is displayed. A confirmation email containing your ticket link is sent to your PayPal email address.
Checkout — free events
For free events, no PayPal step is required. Click Get Free Tickets to complete your booking instantly. A confirmation email with your ticket link is sent to the address you provide.
Your tickets — QR codes and PDF
After purchase, your confirmation email contains a personal ticket link. Opening that link shows your order summary and one QR code per issued ticket.
| What you'll see | Details |
|---|---|
| Order summary | Event name, date, venue, ticket holder name, ticket types and quantities, and the amount paid. |
| QR codes | One QR code per issued ticket. Each code is unique — do not share screenshots with others, as each code can only be scanned once at the door. |
| Download tickets (PDF) | Downloads a PDF containing all your QR codes, suitable for printing or saving to your phone's wallet. |
| Resend this link | A link at the bottom of the ticket page to re-send the ticket link to your inbox if you need it again. |
QR codes are scanned at the door and marked as used. If you have multiple tickets in one order, each ticket has its own code. Do not share your QR codes — once scanned, they cannot be used again.
At the door
Have your QR code ready on your phone or printed out. Door staff will scan each ticket using the eTickets scanner. The scan takes under a second and will show green for a valid ticket. You do not need to show a paper ticket or any other ID unless the event specifically requires it.
Retrieving your ticket link
If you cannot find your confirmation email, you can have your ticket link resent:
- Select your event from the list.
- Enter the email address you used when buying the tickets.
- Complete the anti-bot check and click Send my ticket link.
- If we find a matching order, the link is sent to your inbox. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
For security, the page does not confirm whether an order was found — it always shows "check your inbox". This prevents email addresses from being tested against our order database.
Orders placed through the classic eTickets system do not have QR codes or a ticket link. Use the classic lookup to retrieve those tickets.
Refunds
Refund eligibility and policy are set by each event organiser. eTickets does not set a universal refund policy — if you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact the organiser directly. Their contact details are on the event page.
When an organiser approves and processes a refund through eTickets, it is returned to the original payment method — the card or PayPal account used at checkout. Card refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days, though your bank's processing times may vary.
Find the organiser's contact details on the event page and get in touch before the event. Most organisers cannot process refund requests after the event has taken place.
Problems with your order?
Contact the event organiser directly — their contact details are on the event page. eTickets handles payment processing on behalf of organisers; for questions about the event itself (venue, times, refunds), the organiser is your first point of contact.
