Affiliates

The affiliate feature allows your events to appear on another promoter's public listing page, or allows another promoter's events to appear on yours. In each relationship one promoter is the host (whose listing aggregates events from affiliates) and the other is the affiliate (whose events are shared onto the host's listing).

Platform-managed relationships

Affiliate relationships are created and managed by the eTickets platform team — you cannot add or remove them yourself. Contact eTickets to set up a new affiliation.

How it works

Customers browsing the host's public listing page see the host's own events plus events from all active affiliates, merged by date. Each relationship has a sharing mode that controls which affiliate events appear:

Sharing modeWhich events appear on the host's listing
All events Every active event from the affiliate automatically appears on the host's listing.
Selected events Only events where the affiliate has enabled Share with affiliates on the event appear on the host's listing.

Sharing specific events (Selected events mode)

If you are the affiliate in a Selected events relationship, you control which of your events appear on the host's listing using the Share with affiliates checkbox on the event edit panel.

  1. Open the Events list and click the event you want to share.
  2. In the event edit panel, look for the Share with affiliates checkbox. This checkbox is only visible if you have at least one active Selected events affiliation.
  3. Tick the checkbox and save. The event will appear on the host's public listing.
  4. To stop sharing, untick the checkbox and save.
Share with affiliates is not visible?

The checkbox only appears when your organisation has at least one affiliation configured in Selected events mode where you are the affiliate. If you cannot see it, your affiliation may be set to All events mode, or you do not have an active affiliation. Contact eTickets if you believe this is incorrect.

Attribution on the host's listing

When your events appear on a host's listing, each event card shows a by <your promoter name> attribution line so customers know who is running the event. Customers click through to your own event page and checkout.

Affiliates dashboard widget

The Dashboard shows an Affiliates panel when your organisation has at least one affiliate relationship. The panel lists:

If your organisation has no affiliate relationships the panel is hidden.

Ticket sales and payments

Customers buy tickets through the normal checkout flow regardless of which listing they found the event on. Payment terms and settlement are always determined by the event's own promoter. Appearing on another promoter's listing does not affect your revenue or PayPal settlement.
